This striking hat and mitts set is a gorgeous design made up of twisted stitches against a background of purls. The designer, Jenny Noto, is known for the beautiful crowns on her hat designs and this is an exceptionally lovely one.
The sample shown is knit in Beachcomber, one of the exclusive colorways hand-dyed for us by Dream In Color. It reminds me of the pale pinks on the inside of a seashell that's been washed up on the beach and can be found here.
- 100% hand-dyed smooshy soft (superwash) worsted merino wool
- Detailed pattern for both the hat and mitts
- Intermediate skill level
One skein of yarn will make the hat and mitts set, but if you swatch, leave it attached to ravel and re-knit!
Our kits come with the pattern AND yarn perfectly paired to take the guesswork out of how your project will turn out!
** Though Dream In Color dyes in such a way that you don't see the pooling usually associated with hand-dyed fibers, each skein is unique. There are no dye lots, and skeins may vary slightly.
