This elegant poncho is 100% pure luxury. It's knitted in a fingering-weight blend of wool and cashmere held together with a lace-weight silk/mohair fiber - all hand-dyed from Dream In Color Yarns.
One contrasting strand of mohair/silk is used to make the stripes. It's cozy and incredibly lovely to the touch.
- Fiber: hand-dyed, semi-solid 90% New Zealand wool, 10% cashmere
- Skill level: advanced beginner
- Finished measurements: approximately 70" across at the bottom x 33" across at the top x 20" deep
All the yarn required to make a poncho with 8 repeats as shown in the "Sea" sample is included:
- 6 skeins Lamb & Goat in MC
- 5 skeins Billy Kid Silk in MC
- 1 skein Billy Kid Silk in CC for the stripes
The pattern by Espace Tricot is not included, but is available for free on Ravelry here.
Needles are not included, this project requires:
- US size 9 - 32" circular needle
