This set of patterns from Wanded 527 is really special. The first (Luna) has a lovely delicate texture, the second (Nargle) changes ONE stitch from a knit to a purl and voila! - a new more defined texture is born!

If you use our hand dyed, super bulky yarn, Savvy, for this pattern, you can get an adult sized AND a toddler sized beanie out of one skein! Photos shown are made with one skein of Savvy.

Super Bulky yarn: Approximately 80-85 yds for an adult
US 13 / 9mm 16” circular needles or dpns
US 15 / 10mm 16” circular needles or dpns

Gauge:
US 15: 8 sts and 10 rounds = 4” across

Jenny from Wanded 527 says: Luna Lovegood has always been one of my favorite characters, so when this subtle yet delicately textured pattern popped up serendipitously on my needles, I knew it had to be named for her. And when a pattern is born from another, and the original is named for Luna Lovegood, it makes sense to name the new one Nargle, right? I couldn't believe the difference ONE stitch made to bring out the subtle texture of the Luna Beanie.
